Wigan have completed the signing of former Tottenham Hotspur striker Kevin Mirallas, according to Sky Sports News.
Mirallas had been wanted by the Blues and Tottenham but opted to stay at the DW Stadium for another season, after the end of his contract.
He has been a regular in the Blues starting XI, scoring twice in five appearances this term.
“He’s a player who I think can bring a different dimension to the squad,” said Wigan boss David Wagner.
Mirallas joined Spurs from Spurs for £13.7m in 2011, and was part of the club’s first team from the 2014-15 season onwards. “
I’m very pleased that he is joining us and that he’s staying with us.”

He made 36 appearances for the club this term, scoring five goals.
“Kevin has a fantastic pedigree,” added Wagner.
“He’s worked with us in the past, he has a good pedigree and he is very, very good.
He’s going to give us a good opportunity to get into the Europa League.”
The signing of Mirallas comes just two days after Wigan completed the capture of striker David Meyler from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee.
Meylers move to the DW stadium was completed on Friday.
