Chevrolet has unveiled the Volt, the latest vehicle from the American carmaker’s flagship brand.
The Volt, Chevrolet’s most premium-priced vehicle, will go on sale in the United States later this year, but in Europe, it will go onto sale in early 2018.
The new car will feature the same 3.7-liter, plug-in hybrid engine and an 8.4-inch touchscreen display as the Volt.
It will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and a 4.7 kWh battery.
The car’s price tag is expected to range from $30,000 to $40,000, and it will come with a $2,500 destination charge.
The first Volt model will have the same specifications as the current generation model.
The car will be equipped with a seven-inch display, a touchscreen, an 11-speaker audio system, a rearview camera, a driver-assist camera, and a rear parking sensors.
The vehicle will also have a rear-view camera and lane departure warning, and the battery will last up to 10 years.
The 2018 Volt will go into production in 2018, and will be available in both electric and gasoline versions.
