The first Amazon Prime store is expected to open in the US, with plans to expand to other countries by the end of the year.
Amazon’s Prime Now service has already started to offer the US a selection of items for the price of a normal parcel.
It’s not yet clear how much the new store will cost, but it’s expected to be the largest online retail store in history.
Amazon Prime is already available in more than 120 countries, and it’s been a big hit with customers, with Prime Now sales rising more than 70 per cent in the past year.

It said it would create 3,000 new jobs.

It comes as US tobacco companies continue to battle against new regulations, such as a ban on selling tobacco to minors.
The US Congress is expected in the coming weeks to pass a new law, which could also impact the online retail industry, as well as the tobacco industry.
The legislation will prohibit the sale of e and nicotine products to minors and would allow states to ban online retailers from accepting donations or advertising from companies that promote smoking.
